My last week of my smoothie challenge already started and I have now more fun also in experimenting with photography. This challenge is a challenge in many ways. And a healthy one as well.
It is funny how sometimes something has a different outcome. The today smoothie has psyllium seed husk as well and that is highly jelly. So I took already less than the recipe says and still I got a real custard out of it. I had to put more water to get it more drinkable. In the end I just let it the way it was and took a spoon.
I love the color of the smoothie coming with the blackberries. It’s incredibly intensive. The taste is less blackberry. Great but not really to say what exactly is in the drink. Of course I added my daily flax seed oil and a hint of cinnamon as this is my daily routine. In the recipe I omitted both these ingredients as that is a very personal thing for my own health.
Hope you will like it as I do! It is great as well for a dessert (with less water and being a real custard), to add to paleo ice-cream or eating with muesli. Although one should never eat anything else than the smoothie itself. It’s up to you…
- 1 apple (acidic)
- 1 tbsp psyllium seed husks
- 250 gr blackberries
- 1 handful nettles
- 5 leaves pak choi cabbage
- 1/2 ltr fresh water
- Put all the ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth.
Add as much water you like and to make it 'drinkable'. More water means also more servings.
