- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp bourbon vanilla
Wet ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 60 ml maple syrup or raw honey
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
Extra
- strawberry jam (or any other you like)
Servings: scones
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 150°C.
- Take a big bowl, put all the dry ingredients and stir to combine well.
- In a blender put eggs, maple syrup and coconut oil and mix well until perfectly combined.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and combine well.
- Take a forcing bag with a large mouth, give the dough into the bag and make 5 cm big rounds on baking sheet on the baking tray. Let them 1 cm high.
- After you used all the dough make a buckle in the middle of each biscuit and put a blob of jam in each buckle.
- Put into oven for 15 - 20 minutes until light golden.
Recipe Notes
Who doesn't like or get maple syrup can take honey.
Instead of the strawberry jam you can try any type of jam. Try out with others like cherry jam or kiwi jam maybe.
I stored the scones for 4 days out of the fridge without any problem. They were still great.
