Ingredients
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 bell pepper (diced)
- 2 slices bacon
- 2 gloves garlic (minced)
- 500 g sausage (chunks)
- 500 g chicken (chunks)
- 1/2 c red wine
- 2 c rice
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilis
- 1 l organic chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp salt & pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp origano

Instructions
- Put a a big pot on the stove, put some olive oil and saute the onion, garlic bell pepper and bacon.
- Then add the sausage, saute. Add the chicken and saute. Add the red wine.
- Add, the tomatoes and let it get heat. Then add the chicken broth and the rice in once. Add also the spices. Stir and cover with a lit. Let it cook on medium heat for around 30 minutes,
- When the rice is soft and all the liquid is gone the Jambala is ready to serve.
- Garnish with some parsley or chives.
Recipe Notes
In case you use shrimp substitute the red wine with white wine.
