Put the nuts into a blender and blend them until they are cracked into little pieces. Don’t worry about regularity, they have to be in different sizes.
Transfer the nut mixture into a large bowl and add all the rest of the ingredients, accept the chia seeds. Stir with a spoon (best a wooden one) until the mixture is well combined.
Put the granola mixture onto a baking tray lined with a parchment paper. Put the baking tray into the oven and let it bake for 30 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes in order that the mixture will get lightly golden at all sides.
Take it out and let it cool a little before you add the chia seeds.
Transfer the ready and cool granola into jars/air tide containers or let them on the tray and store it in the fridge.
