A hotel for whom likes a simple accommodation in a breathtaking surrounding.
The village Minozzo has only a few houses and is surrounded by mountains, meadows and forests, ideal for cycling or hiking.
The hotel itself offers all needs, there is free WiFi (ask for the key) and a restaurant where you can eat homemade pasta. Cappelletti for example. Try also minestrone – a huge bowl of veggie-soup with the best taste ever.
They sell newspapers and magazines in Italian. The younger owners know a little English.
The hotel is situated on the main street but in the night there is no traffic at all.
20 meters from the hotel there is an old tower from middle age, open for visiting.
Personal experience:
I stayed from 5th to 8th April 2014 and had a double as single. They took me like in family. The hotel that time was not open but they gave me a room nonetheless. I stayed three nights because I liked the area and the people a lot.
I recommend:
Cycling. It’s so idyllic, peaceful and not too much cars. Hiking is great as well, one can go into the woods and fields. Never forget your camera! There are a lot of breathtaking views and animals as well to ‘shoot’.
