30 Smoothies – 30 Days of Pure Vitamin Bombs (day 5)

My challenge starts to be a real challenge as I started a juicing period. To clean myself a Chinese physician told me it would be best to eat or drink one kilo of grapes every day for a period of 4 weeks. So I thought the best is to start when already in ‘juicing mode’.

So now, in the morning I prepare my smoothie challenge and later I put on my juicer and extract the juice of the grapes. That is a lot of juice during a day!

But anyway, my smoothie today is one to eat as it comes out very dense. But it has a great taste, lightly earthy because of the beetroot and the carrots. A lot of starch I thought. This one is definitively one to substitute lunch. For dinner it is too heavy and too much.

  1. Put all the ingredients into the blender and blend until completely smooth.
Recipe Notes

In the original recipe there is no water. I put water not only for the blender (it doesn't work without any liquid) but also to have  something at least half drinkable. It is very dense and nearly easier to spoon. Regular yourself how you like the consistency more.

My fruits and veggies are all middle size.
