30 Smoothies – 30 Days of Pure Vitamin Bombs (day 30)

Today is my last smoothie day and already 30 days have gone. I didn’t think I would really do it. But is was very exciting, fun and a great lesson as well.

In the beginning I had some moments I thought “ Oh, gosh, not another smoothie today!” But then I liked it a lot. Other struggle was the late breakfast. It seems so easy, preparing my smoothie in 10 minutes and then… shooting time! So when I was hungry at 8 in the morning I could be sure not to have breakfast before 9.30. Looking up which color the smoothie will have, to search for the right background, props, light. To think about the atmosphere I wanted to create and to go to the place where to shoot (sometimes in the house, sometimes in the garden, some in the kitchen, others in the dinning corner) with all the stuff. Believe me, it was a long thing in the morning…

The best: I had 30 days of super healthy breakfasts and a lot of fun to shoot. After all I don’t eat anymore in the evenings (that ‘I want to eat something, it’s time’ has gone). That is my physical change. And I had a lot of fun to choose every morning props, color, light, to invent always a new situation. I learnt much more about lightning and I finally shot all in manual mode. I think I created some nice moments, some telling a story, some just documenting.

So my last smoothie today is again with banana, I added an apple and some of these delicious plum I bought for a plum cake I wanted to bring for lunch today at my friends’ house. I added some almond butter and a teaspoon of honey, just to give it a more intense taste. Super yummy and smooth.

Hope all who so bravely followed me through this month every day looking at photos of smoothies are a little inspired to make at least once in a while a smoothie and maybe who already likes this fruity drink has found some new ideas. Smoothies are so easy and no matter what you put into your blender, fruits only, fruits mixed with garden herbs or salads, kale or other veggies – be sure that they are all great.

Thanks for following me! And stay tuned.. I am thinking about a new self-challenge 😉

I peeled the apple because I didn't wanted the color of the plums in the drink. You can of course use the whole apple it organic.
