30 Smoothies – 30 Days of Pure Vitamin Bombs (day 26)

Hi smoothie folks,

Today I thought a green smoothie would be perfect again as I had so much bright colors lately. Yellow, white, orange, red and also some undefined colors between.. I don’t know. The color is not that real important but as we know: handle a green green smoothie to someone who has never seen (and tried) any before he or she will anyway snuffle and have that very particular look of “Are you seriously believing that is edible?” Oh yeah… and it is tasty as well!

So this morning I got some fresh spinach and salad leaves, took a grapefruit (just the meat and then squeezed out to get all the juice of it), an apple and a banana, a cup of water. That’s it. Incredibly green and incredibly yummy. No, you won’t taste the spinach or salad, just fruit. OK, and, yes, of course I put some flax seed oil in. But forgot the cinnamon today. Doesn’t matter, will have other occasion during the day to have it.

  1. Put all the ingredients into the blender and blend until completely smooth.

This green smoothie is perfect by it's own. You can serve some nuts with but let the nourish drink do it's work and clean you inside and give you all the power of greens.
