Today I have again my lunch salad to drink! Baby spinach, lamb’s lettuce, a squeeze of lemon, an Indian fig and some water. Something more healthy?
And what do you think about my co-worker? She is observing all I do, I am under control to do all right 😀
Green smoothies are real health bombs. Did you know that Victoria Boutenko, a Russian woman living in the US, ‘invented’ the green smoothies? Her family fell ill with various diseases and as she started to cure her family with raw food she started with smoothies. Some of her family members didn’t like to eat veggies (especially the green stuff) and so she ‘hide them away’ in fruit drinks. That is so impressing: you never taste the veggies but always the fruit. What ever vegetable you put in.

- 1 handful lamb's lattuce
- 1 lemon zest
- 1 lemon juice
- 1 handful spinach
- 1/s pomegranate (kernels)
- 1 Indian fig
- 1/2 glass fresh water
- Grate first the lemon and then squeeze it.
- Peel all the other fruits. Pomegranate should be spooned out the kernels.
- Put all into the blender and blend until smooth.
The water is for changing the density. If you like it less creamy just put more water.
